מגִירוֹס(מַגְרוֹס) m. (μάγειρος) baker, cook. Lam. R. to III, 16 אצל המגרוס Ar., v. פָּרָכוּטֵס. Lev. R. s. 28; Pesik. R. s. 18; Yalk. Lev. 643, a. e. (מְגִרְסָךְ) מְגִירְסָךְ אנא I (the Lord) am thy cook (ripening thy fruits); Pesik. Haʿomer, p. 70a> מגיסך (corr. acc.). Ib. כמו גרייס read: כמגירוס. Num. R. s. 4, end מ׳ שלבו״ד (not מגירם, מגידם) the cook of a human master.
